After a clean sweep of Puneri Paltan in VIVO PKL 6, we will now look to do the same with U Mumba. Our past encounters have been nothing but entertaining games of Kabaddi. In our first match up, it was Mahendra Rajput's 7-point raid that turned the game around for us. In our second game at home, we overcame a 10-point deficit to go on and win the game.

What one can only describe as a convincing win in our last panga against the Puneri Paltan came in an impressive fashion as we were able to put in yet another all-around performance. Every player from our starting seven contributed towards the total points. With a commanding lead in the second half, coach Manpreet Singh was able to provide two of the youngsters some much needed game time as we raced away with the game. Sachin Tanwar was the top scorer for us in the game against Puneri Paltan.

Our confidence will be on an all-time high after two back to back complete performance. But we are sure coach Manpreet Singh will not let this confidence turn into overconfidence and will get boys ready for yet another tough encounter against the formidable U Mumba. Fazel Atrachali leads not only the defence, but also the entire team by himself and has ample support from the top raider of the VIVO PKL 6, Siddarth Desai. They will be looking to register their first win over us, a feat which they have not been able to achieve in our last five encounters. We will have to pull off yet another flawless performance against U Mumba to keep our bragging rights. Parvesh Bhainswal and Sunil Kumar will have to put in a stellar performance for us and stop Siddharth Desai whereas, Sachin Tanwar will have to avoid Fazel Atrachali and stack up raid points.

Battle within Battle: K Prapanjan vs. Rohit Baliyan

Rohit Baliyan has done an excellent job of supporting Siddharth Desai for U Mumba and in the process has 63 points to his name. He has been the second raider that U Mumba has relied on when Siddharth Desai is off the mat. Our own K Prapanjan has done a fantastic job of helping Sachin Tanwar out in the raiding department. He has been a very reliable raider behind Sachin Tanwar, and his numbers speak for themselves. Both players are capable of getting raid points for their respective teams and will play a vital part in the outcome of a very entertaining game.

When going up against one of the best teams in VIVO PKL 6, we will need our best player to perform on the mat. Sachin Tanwar was able to get a super 10 in the last game against U Mumba and will have to play similarly against the formidable defence of Fazel Atrachali.

Parvesh Bhainswal

When the opposition has the top raider of the season in their team, you need a strong defender to stop him. It was Parvesh's mammoth effort in the defence that helped us overcome a 10-point deficit in our previous encounter against U Mumba and the team will be looking up to him for a similar performance to cement our position at the top of the table.
