Gujarat Giants will square off against Bengaluru Bulls in their 11th Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 9 fixture at the Shree Shivchhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune on Sunday, November 6.
The Giants head into the Bengaluru Bulls game after producing a spirited comeback in the second half against Bengal Warriors, however, succumbed to a 40-45 defeat in their previous match at the same venue on Saturday.
With four wins, five losses and one tie, the Ram Mehar Singh-coached side is currently placed 11th in the Pro Kabaddi Season 9 standings with 26 points from 10 matches.
In desperate need of a win, all eyes will be on star raider Rakesh and all-rounder Parteek Dhaiya. While Rakesh has been the standout player for the Giants this season, amassing 103 raid points in 10 games, Parteek Dhaiya also impressed against the Warriors on Saturday as he picked 12 points including registering eight successful raids.
On the other hand, Bengaluru Bulls suffered a setback as they lost 27-29 to Haryana Steelers in their last game on Tuesday.
Having registered 35 points from 10 matches, the Bulls are currently placed second in the standings, two points behind league leaders Puneri Paltan.
For the Bulls, raider Bharat will be the player to watch out for against the Giants, having bagged 112 raid points in 10 matches so far.

Gujarat Giants and Bengaluru Bulls have faced each other nine times in the Pro Kabaddi League history, winning four games apiece. Meanwhile, one match ended in a tie.
The last time these two sides locked horns, the Giants suffered a 29-49 defeat against the Bulls in the Eliminator 2 clash of PKL Season 8 to get knocked out of the tournament.
