Coming off a strong start to the tournament, UP Yoddhas clinched their third win in four games, defeating us with a final score of 35-29. UP quickly responded, showing their strength by grabbing the lead at 8-6. But Jitender Yadav stepped up with a Super Tackle, leveling the score once more. This back-and-forth battle continued as UP took another lead with the help of Bharat, but our defense, anchored by Neeraj Kumar, made a key Super Tackle, bringing us back into the lead. The lead kept shifting as the Yoddhas secured an All Out, edging ahead with the scoreboard reading 16-14. By halftime, UP maintained a slim lead at 19-17.
The Yoddhas came out strong in the second half, extending their advantage to 22-17. Himanshu Singh, who came on as a substitute, made an immediate impact by scoring two points, narrowing the gap. Yet, UP’s defense proved tough, with Sumit taking down Guman Singh, and Bhavani Rajput tagging Sombir, bringing the score to 24-20. Himanshu Singh continued his impressive form, collecting critical points and keeping us in the game. After his two-point effort, the score was once again level. However, UP’s defense responded by executing a Super Tackle on Himanshu Singh, pushing their lead to 29-26.
Despite our relentless efforts to stay in the game, the Yoddhas pulled off a game-changing move. Bharat came through with a Super Raid, stretching UP’s lead and sealing their victory. He completed another Super Raid, ending the match with a final score of 35-29 in favor of the Yoddhas.
