Following a spectacular triumph over Dabang Delhi K.C., our team faced a formidable challenge in a match against Puneri Paltan in Hyderabad, unfortunately ending in disappointment.
The game kicked off with Puneri Paltan swiftly securing three consecutive points, but our star player, Parteek Dahiya, turned the tide with a crucial Super Raid, adding valuable points to our tally. Regrettably, Pune's dominance persisted, granting them a lead that they carried into the halftime break with a scoreline of 22–9.
The second half commenced with a glimmer of hope as Sonu Jaglan executed a Super Raid, earning us two much-needed points. Despite our efforts to stage a comeback, the Paltan's lead proved formidable, and though we managed to narrow the gap to 7 points, Shadloo's Super Tackle extended their advantage. The final whistle saw Puneri Paltan emerge victorious with a score of 34-24. Notably, Mohammad Nabibakhsh showcased a stellar performance as he produced crucial instances which included 4 touch points, 2 bonus points and 1 tackle.
With 8 wins in 14 games, our standing is currently 6th in the points table. Meanwhile, Puneri Paltan maintains their 2nd position, trailing behind Jaipur Pink Panthers. Looking ahead, our focus turns to the upcoming clash against U Mumba scheduled for January 26th in Patna.
