Our Pro Kabaddi League season has been challenging, as we endured a seventh straight loss, this time to the Patna Pirates in Noida. Despite the tough tournament, we are not backing down and remain optimistic for a comeback in the games ahead.

The match actually started well for us. Guman Singh carried his strong form from the previous game, scoring a quick bonus point. We executed a successful tackle and then Parteek added a touch point, giving us an early 3-point lead. Patna’s Sandeep soon put them on the scoreboard with a successful raid, but Rakesh responded with another successful raid, helping us keep the advantage. The Pirates quickly fought back, however, and soon leveled the score at 7-7.

Both teams were battling fiercely, reaching 9-9 by the first Strategic Time-Out. Patna managed to score two more points, but Parteek Dahiya struck back with a Super Tackle, leveling the score once again. Shortly after, another Super Tackle brought us back in the lead. Patna was quick to respond, though, regaining a slight edge at 15-16. They then inflicted an All Out, which gave them a more comfortable lead, ending the first half with the Pirates in front.

We began the second half on a strong note, securing two successful tackles that narrowed the gap to 18-21. But Patna quickly regained control and began racking up points, pushing the score to 20-28. They inflicted another All Out, widening the gap even further. From there, they kept up the pressure, continuously scoring and maintaining their lead. Although we managed a Super Tackle in the final minutes, it was not enough to make a comeback, and the Pirates secured a decisive 40-27 victory.

While it was a disappointing night, we are not letting go of hope. Our spirit is still strong, and we believe a breakthrough is just around the corner. Our focus is now on preparing for our next challenge against the Bengal Warriorz, scheduled for Wednesday, November 13.
