Young players are the essence to build any side. Yes, the experienced players are the core of a team, but the exuberance and the energy are always bought by the young players of the side especially the ones making their debuts.

Going into season 7 of the PKL, Gujarat Fortune Giants have done the same by investing their trust in NYP players to provide them an opportunity and a big platform to showcase their talent. Let’s look at some of the promising NYP players from the team.

1. Sonu Gahlawat

The young 21-year-old left corner defender is from Sonipat, Haryana. Sonu’s favourite player is Kabaddi stalwart, Joginder Narwal and just like him; he is ready to conquer the mat.

2. Ankit Bhainswal

Still in his teens, to play a tournament like Pro Kabaddi is a big achievement. Our 19-year-old giant is all set to make his PKL debut.

3. Harmanjeet Singh

Playing at the right corner is our 20-year-old giant defender from Punjab. Harmanjeet’s favourite player is none other than Anup Kumar. Ironically, Anup Kumar’s greatest strength were bonus and toe touch and that’s exactly what our Giant is an expert at stopping the raiders from scoring.

4. Sumit Malik

Sumit Malik comes from Sonipat, Haryana and plays at the left corner. His favourite player is our young sensation, Sachin Tanwar who also happens to be his closest friend. Our 20-year-old Giant is all set to make his name at the PKL.
