Despite a remarkable comeback by the Giants, the Pirates emerged victorious, handing Gujarat their first loss this season. Fazel Atrachali's team maintained their lead on the points table, while Patna Pirates, with consecutive wins, climbed to second place.

Early on, Patna Pirates took the lead through Sachin, but Rohit Gulia equalized for the Giants. While the former champions initially dominated, Gujarat fought back with Sourav Gulia and the brilliant ‘Highly Skilled’ Rakesh. The first half concluded with both teams tied at 12 points each.

With only 2 minutes left, Rakesh's Super 10 narrowed the gap to just 2 points. Yet, Patna Pirates clinched the win in the final moments. Despite the defeat, the Giants' comeback was commendable and something to take pride in.
