The new season of Pro Kabaddi League has begun with plenty of excitement, twists and turns. So far, we have played two games, winning one and losing one, and it is shaping up to be a thrilling campaign for us.

Our first match was against Bengaluru Bulls on October 20, 2024. It was an impressive start as we secured a hard-fought 36-32 victory. The team showed great determination and composure to hold off the Bulls and get the season underway with a win. Sombir was exceptional, earning a High 5, and his defence played a crucial role in securing the result.

In our second match, we faced a tougher opponent in U Mumba. They were strong from the get-go and kept putting pressure on us throughout the match. Despite our best efforts and a spirited fight, U Mumba came out on top. Sombir once again delivered an outstanding performance with a second consecutive High 5, proving his consistency.

Next up, we are set to face UP Yoddhas, who have had an incredible start to the season, winning their first two matches. They began by defeating Dabang Delhi K.C. 28-23 and followed it up with a commanding 57-36 victory over Bengaluru Bulls. After a difficult season 10, where they managed only four wins and finished near the bottom of the table, they have made a strong statement this time around and are brimming with confidence.

Historically, we’ve dominated our encounters with UP Yoddhas, winning 7 out of 11 games. Last season, we beat them twice, with scores of 38-30 and 36-29. But this time, with UP Yoddhas off to a flying start, it’s going to be a test for us. We are ready for the challenge and confident in our ability to put in a strong performance!
