Gujarat Giants managed to beat Bengaluru Bulls 40-36 in their previous fixture on Sunday on the back of a crucial two-point raid from Pardeep Kumar in the dying moments of the match.
Pardeep Kumar was the top scorer with 14 raid points in the match while captain Sunil Kumar scored a high 5, his second in PKL season 8.
Meanwhile, Jaipur Pink Panthers suffered a 28-35 loss against Haryana Steelers in their last encounter. Deepak Hooda scored eight points including a tackle point while Sandeep Dhull scored a high 5.
Gujarat have three wins in the last five outings whereas Jaipur have managed to win twice. A win will help the Gujarat Giants enter into the top six in the PKL standings.
Rakesh Sungroya has been the best raider for Gujarat with 92 raid points from 14 matches while Parvesh Bhainswal has led the defensive outfit with 38 tackle points.
The last time these two sides met in the reverse fixture this season, Rakesh Narwal scored seven raid points while Girish Ernak ended with seven tackle points in his bag.
