The Giants are on fire in the sixth edition of the VIVO ProKabaddi League. They have won 5 back-to-back games, marching towards the top of the table. Against Dabang Delhi K.C., the Giants played out an entertaining and high-scoring game of kabaddi, inflicting three all-outs in total.
Dong Geon Lee, who was given his first start repaid the coach’s faith and registered his maiden VIVO PKL Super 10. He scored crucial points for the team and was wreaking havoc in the opponent’s half whenever he went to raid. Among our defenders, it was Parvesh Bhainswal who gave us stability and registered his first High 5 of the season.
After a five-day rest, we will be going up against a strong team in the form of U Mumba, the only team apart from us in Zone A to have suffered only one loss. With just 5 points separating U Mumba and us, it will be a crucial match for both the teams to make a statement. Both the teams have been in form. U Mumba find themselves in the top 5 on the list of teams with the most points scored this season. However, our Giants average the second most tackle points per game.
Stats only tell half the story though. We’ll have to be on our toes to stop U Mumba’s young sensation Siddharth Sirish Desai. Knowing our Giants, they’ll be up for this challenge!

The former Giants left corner, and the current captain of U Mumba is carrying his form from last season into this season. The U Mumba captain has already scored two High 5s this season and will be raring to go up against his former team. However, his counterpart is our young captain, Sunil Kumar, who will be leading his team with confidence after tasting victory in all of his last five games.
Key Giants
Parvesh Bhainswal
Our left-cover defender, Parvesh Bhainswal managed to get his first High 5 of the season in the last match. He has been improving steadily over the course of the season and will be looking to help the team stop U Mumba’s in-form raider, Siddharth Desai.
Sachin Tanwar
Sachin Tanwar has been our top raider so far, and he will have to bring his A-game against U Mumba’s defensive unit. With Fazel Atrachali on the left corner, Sachin Tanwar will have to show his agility and speed to avoid his tackles and get his team valuable points.
He’d love to add another Super 10 to his name, and more importantly, contribute to his fullest to ensure that the Giants keep their winning run going.
