Gujarat Giants began their away leg of Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 with a thrilling match, which unfortunately ended 35-32 in favour of Jaipur Pink Panthers at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday.

Sonu Jaglan was our star of the match, shining bright with 13 points, including one Super Raid.

Despite the loss, the Giants still stand on the top of the points table, with three wins and two losses, with 17 points.

Going into the Bengaluru leg, Fazel Atrachali's team led the head-to-head record against the Jaipur Pink Panthers, winning six, losing twice, and sharing the spoils two times.

The match began with Rohit Gulia succeeding in all three opening raids, raking in three points. Sonu Jaglan followed up with an incredible Super Raid and continued to shine, inflicting an All-Out on the Pink Panthers.

The Gujarat Giants went into the break with a 20-12 lead. It was the first time we led at half-time this season.

The second half, however, was a challenging one for our Giants. Arjun Deshwal from the Pink Panthers led the resurgence for the former champions, sending all our men back to the bench. It was the first time the opposition took a lead in the match.

Sonu did try to revive our chances in the match but with a six-point gap and just 30 seconds remaining on the clock, the Giants went down fighting.

Gujarat Giants will now be up against Haryana Steelers on December 19.
