After a long wait of 2 years, Gujarat Giants and Vivo Pro Kabaddi League are finally back! We are as excited as you are. Due to the pandemic, the Vivo PKL had been suspended for safety reasons but the league is due to return on the 22nd December 2021. It will be held at a single location, Bengaluru, as opposed to the travelling format followed for the last few seasons. The teams will be under a bio-bubble in Bengaluru for 2 months prior to the commencement. This allows the players to train with their teammates as well as create a strong bond with the newcomers in the teams. Spectators will not be allowed in the stadium to comply with the COVID-19 norms set by the Government. This year’s Vivo PKL will be special as it will be the first professional indoor contact sports league in India to hold matches since the pandemic.

The fans have been waiting to see Kabaddi back in action and time Gujarat Giants have had a strong auction and will look to get the season rolling on a strong note. The squad and the management team have been hard at work to make sure every Gujarat Giant, be it the players or the background staff, is prepared for the upcoming season.
