Yet another victory for our Giants and what a way to win it! Both our defence and offense were razor sharp against the Steelers. Sachin and K Prapanjan both registered Super 10s as they combined for 22 raid points. If our raiders were causing havoc in the Haryana Steelers’ defence, our defenders were not allowing them any easy points. Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal both added 4 points to their name. It was one of the most complete performances from our Giants.

With the end of our matches in Vizag, we will move to Panchkula for the Jaipur leg of the season to face the Pink Panthers. A team who has not been good this season and will look to make most of its home leg. We will look to continue our winning ways as we move closer to the top spot. With veteran players like Anup Kumar and Mohit Chhillar in their line up coupled with players like Deepak Niwas Hooda, Jaipur has a formidable team which can cause an upset on any given day. We will have to be careful when we face off with them. Sachin Tanwar will have to play to the best of his ability when he goes to raid. Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal will have to contend the start raider, Anup Kumar. For us to win this game will be vital as it will put us closer to the top of Zone A.

Battle within the Battle: Sachin Tanwar vs. Deepak Niwas Hooda

Even though the season for Pink Panthers has not gone as they might have wished for, Deepak Niwas Hooda has been nothing but excellent for them. He has contributed on both ends of the mat with 7 Super 10s and a High 5 to his name. Sachin Tanwar has clearly shown this season that he is a prolific scorer on the mat for us. With 5 Super 10s to his name, he looks to be scoring for fun in some of the games. When these two go up against each other, it will be a battle which will provide fireworks.

Key Giants.

Parvesh Bhainswal

In a race for being the top defender of the VIVO PKL 6, Parvesh Bhainswal has made his mark in the season. With raiders like Anup Kumar and Deepak Niwas Hooda in the opposition, Parvesh will have to come out strong and have his impact on this game. For us to win the game defence will play an integral part, and Parvesh will be the key player in our defence.

K Prapanjan

With back to back Super 10s to his name, Prapanjan is beaming with confidence. Coach's trust in him has made him our secondary raider. He has been excellent in the last two matches providing crucial points when our top raider, Sachin was not on the mat for us. With the mighty defence of Mohit Chhillar in the opposition, K Prapanjan will play a key part in our raiding department.
